Disney Television Animation is an animation studio that is the TV animation production arm of Disney Channels Worldwide, a division of Walt Disney Television, dedicated to creating, developing, and producing animated television series, films, specials, and other projects.

Why It Is The Magic Of Animation

1. Great/Decent Disney TV cartoons from the classics (DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, Raw Toonage, TaleSpin, Gargoyles, Recess, Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, The Replacements) to a recent ones (Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Big City Greens, Amphibia, The Owl House, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, the 2017 reboot of DuckTales, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Kiff, Hailey's On It!), and the upcoming VikingSkool, and The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti).

Shows that were based off the feature movies from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar are good, such as Aladdin: the Series, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King’s Timon and Pumbaa, 101 Dalmations: The Series, Hercules: The Animated Series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Legend of Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, The Emperor's New School, Tangled: the Series, Big Hero 6: The Series and Monsters at Work.

   • The Buzz on Maggie theme song sounds so adorable.
10. It spawned some merchandise like toys, books, comics, video games, VHS, DVDs, clothes, feature films, and more for several shows.
11. TRON: Uprising the interquel for the TRON franchise had such a unique, and eye-opening CGI animated style. Developer Charlie Bean explained the idea was to create a distinct style for the CG show not seen elsewhere on television or in film.
12. Several series have had crossovers such as Mission Marvel and Star Wars from Phineas and Ferb, several The Disney Afternoon characters from DuckTales reboot, "Wax Museum" from Amphibia and the four episodes ("Morpholomew", "Spats", "Rufus" and "Lax") from Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
13. Some of their cancelled and/or more obscure shows are good too, such as Teacher's Pet, The Weekenders, Dave the Barbarian, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Get Ed and TRON: Uprising.
14. Starting with The Buzz on Maggie, they started to make flash animation shows like Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Fish Hooks and Mickey Mouse (2013 Series).

Bad Qualities

1. Some of the cartoons that are bad or mediocre like
   • The Wuzzles (the first show from the studio, which unfortunately started their legacy on a sour note)
   • The Miranda wright episodes of Bonkers
   • The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show (a rip-off of Ren & Stimpy)
   • Quack Pack
   • Teamo Supremo (considered to be the worst show made by the studio)
   • Shorty McShorts' Shorts
   • Fish Hooks
   • Pickle and Peanut (the second worst)
   • Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer (the third the worst)
   • Future-Worm!
   • Two More Eggs
   • The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder
   • While this show became most-watched in Europe, Disney created the Marsupilami TV show without Marsu's permission, which can be considered copyright infringement.
2. Sadly, most of the shows since late 2016 no longer have stingers scene on credits.

Trivia

The entity was formerly known as The Walt Disney Pictures Television Animation Group, the name was then later changed, shortened to Walt Disney Television Animation starting in mid-1988 and was its name up until 2011 when was shortened again to Disney Television Animation.

The shows were currently aired on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and streaming on DisneyNOW and Disney+.
