Disney Television Animation is an animation studio that is the TV animation production arm of Disney Channels Worldwide, a division of Walt Disney Television, dedicated to creating, developing, and producing animated television series, films, specials, and other projects.

Why It Is The Magic Of Animation

  1. Great/Decent Disney TV cartoons from the classics (DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, Raw Toonage, TaleSpin, Gargoyles, Recess, Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, The Replacements) to a recent ones (Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Big City Greens, Amphibia, The Owl House, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, the 2017 reboot of DuckTales, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Kiff, Hailey's On It!), and the upcoming VikingSkool, and The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti).
  2. Shows that were based off the feature movies from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar are good, such as Aladdin: the Series, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King’s Timon and Pumbaa, 101 Dalmations: The Series, Hercules: The Animated Series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Legend of Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, The Emperor's New School, Tangled: the Series, Big Hero 6: The Series and Monsters at Work.
  3. Much like Nickelodeon Animation Studio and Cartoon Network Studios, they also have respected animators who work or worked to the studio, like Mark McCorkle, Bob Schooley, Chris Sanders, Dean DeBlois, Doug Langdale, Russell Marcus, Jeff Goode, Jim Jinkins, Bobs Gannaway, Dan Povenmire, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, Alex Hirsch, Paul Rudish, Craig McCracken, and Daron Nefcy.
  4. Some great reboots or revival such as DuckTales (2017) or The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, and The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
  5. It even helped with the other production owned by Disney, such as Jumbo Pictures and its short-lived division, Jetix Animation Concepts.
  6. The overseas animation for the shows, like TMS Entertainment, Toei Animation, Toon City, Rough Draft Korea, Big Star Enterprise, Saerom Animation, Sunmin Image Pictures, Wang Film Productions, Morning Sun Animation Group, Walt Disney Animation Japan, DisneyToon Studios Australia (formerly Walt Disney Television Animation Australia Pty. Ltd.), Mercury Filmworks, Plus One Animation and many more.
  7. They also make great cartoons for sister channels like Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, PB&J Otter, Sofia the First, Captain Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Fancy Nancy, Alice's Wonderland Bakery), Toon Disney/Jetix/Disney XD (Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, Yin Yang Yo!, Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Motorcity) TRON: Uprising and Disney's One Saturday Morning/ABC Kids (Pepper Ann, The Weekenders, Mickey Mouse Works, Disney's House of Mouse, Fillmore!).
  8. Most shows from mid-2000s to early 2010s such as Kim Possible (season 4) The Emperor's New School, American Dragon: Jake Long (season 2), Gravity Falls, The Replacements, Wander Over Yonder, Phineas and Ferb and Fish Hook have some hilarious moments during the stinger that are fun to watch.
  9. Several of them had cool theme songs, from the comedy-oriented ones (The Wuzzles, Bonkers, Phineas and Ferb, Timon & Pumbaa, Goof Troop, Jungle Cubs, Pepper Ann, Mickey Mouse Works, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Dave the Barbarian, Quack Pack, Hercules, Teacher's Pet, The Weekenders, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Yin Yang Yo!, Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Wander Over Yonder, Milo Murphy's Law, Monsters at Work, Shorty McShorts' Shorts, Fish Hooks), to the action-oriented ones (Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, Kim Possible, The Legend of Tarzan, Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, The Replacements, The Legend of Tarzan, The Lion Guard, Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, TRON: Uprising, DuckTales).
    • The Buzz on Maggie theme song sounds so adorable.
  10. It spawned some merchandise like toys, books, comics, video games, VHS, DVDs, clothes, feature films, and more for several shows.
  11. TRON: Uprising the interquel for the TRON franchise had such a unique, and eye-opening CGI animated style. Developer Charlie Bean explained the idea was to create a distinct style for the CG show not seen elsewhere on television or in film.
  12. Several series have had crossovers such as Mission Marvel and Star Wars from Phineas and Ferb, several The Disney Afternoon characters from DuckTales reboot, "Wax Museum" from Amphibia and the four episodes ("Morpholomew", "Spats", "Rufus" and "Lax") from Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
  13. Some of their cancelled and/or more obscure shows are good too, such as Teacher's Pet, The Weekenders, Dave the Barbarian, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Get Ed and TRON: Uprising.
  14. Starting with The Buzz on Maggie, they started to make flash animation shows like Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Fish Hooks and Mickey Mouse (2013 Series).

Bad Qualities

  1. Some of the cartoons that are bad or mediocre like
    • The Wuzzles (the first show from the studio, which unfortunately started their legacy on a sour note)
    • The Miranda wright episodes of Bonkers
    • The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show (a rip-off of Ren & Stimpy)
    • Quack Pack
    • Teamo Supremo (considered to be the worst show made by the studio)
    • Shorty McShorts' Shorts
    • Fish Hooks
    • Pickle and Peanut (the second worst)
    • Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer (the third the worst)
    • Future-Worm!
    • Two More Eggs
    • The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder
    • While this show became most-watched in Europe, Disney created the Marsupilami TV show without Marsu's permission, which can be considered copyright infringement.
  2. Sadly, most of the shows since late 2016 no longer have stingers scene on credits.
