Toon City is a Filipino animation studio located in Manila. They have produced animation for The Walt Disney Company, Nickelodeon, Universal, Warner Bros., HBO, and the infamous Canadian company CinéGroupe.

Toon City was founded in 1993 by Colin Baker with roughly ten animators. Their first series work was for Bonkers. The studio currently has a floor space of over 3000 square meters and can accommodate over one thousand artists producing animation in traditional 2D, Flash, CGI, and paperless Harmony.

Why They Rock

  1. They are experienced in very smooth animation in a majority of the shows they worked on.
  2. The 1993 and 2013 logos are good, Their 2023 logo is also decent with the words ToONCiTY in orange text. MANILA X VANCOUVER is seen underneath the company name.
  3. Just like Rough Draft Studios and Bardel Entertainment, their work can often bump up the positives of a certain negative-received series like The Mighty B!, and Quack Pack.
  4. They are responsible for animating most of the shows from Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Disney, Universal, and HBO, even the most infamous Canadian company CinéGroupe.
  5. Just like Carbunkle Cartoons, they're a better animation service studio in the Philippines that worked on such awesome cartoons, unlike Fil-Cartoons.

Bad Qualities

  1. Some of their work tends to consist of animation errors and look cheap, especially the last three seasons of Johnny Test (2005).
    • On top of that, their animation for Rocket Monkeys looks stilted and stiff most of the time.
  2. Some bad shows their work for animation such as:
  3. Their work for animation, while good, was very completely bad at times like Taffy.
