Please don't make this into an edit war.
I did this because I thought it would be clever by combining "Bad Qualities" with "How Bad Can I Be?" and "Good Qualities" with "How Good Can These Qualities Possibly Be?" and so it would fit the topic of the page, so please, don't cause any drama and just leave it the way it is and I also know that your better than that, SuperStreetKombat. - Well, I'm sorry, but I hate it when custom headers get added to average pages, because not only does it make it more confusing to people who read pages on why a product is bad or good, but also back on Miraheze's Qualitipedia, we had a rule against that, and I hope we have that kind of rule here, too. Plus, custom headers are incredibly obnoxious, especially when they're inappropriately added to pages that shouldn't even have them, and those types of headings need to be regulated.
- Also, I'm not sure why you keep changing it back the way it was, and why it matters to you why custom headers get removed from certain pages, and no offense, but you're pretty much the one who started an edit war, even though I've perfectly stated why I made these changes, and you never even stated why you added these custom headings back beforehand. - I mean, the rules are right there. You're both staff and this should have gone to talk immediately when an issue was noticed, thanks Batboy for taking that initiative as that's something all staff should be doing/encouraging. I should not be seeing edit wars at all regardless of edit summary and let alone involving staff, this is the second time (first was pacman on another page). The page protection is silly as this is a conflict between two people who can edit at admin level, it should have been talked out. Batboy is newer but SSK you've been in this game a long time and we're still covering the basics... I digress. Now,
- SuperStreetKombat, there are no rules about custom headers specifically. Wishing there to be a rule means you discuss adding it. You can suggest one but I do not support readding arbitrary custom header rules here for two reasons. One, it's damned if you do damned if you don't, we'll get dinged either way as happened on old QP so in this reboot I see it as a non issue. If you have a good reason why the header is nonsense (unrelated, huge stretch to try and make a reference, long/unwieldy), feel free to take them out. That's not the case here. And second, "average pages" and whatever doesn't mean much and that was a disaster on old QP too to try and play with; you may as well have them or not and right now we do have them. Since there is no rule for you to enforce I want you to drop this point. Batboy's edits are inoffensive. If you want to push it consider forming an RfC but otherwise leave this agenda aside. I haven't finished an 'official' rfc process but you can spin something up as a draft and I'll advertise/format it accordingly if you want to push the point.
- Again, I don't want to see staff edit warring. Batboy at least went to talk page eventually, I want that to happen as soon as it's looking like people in staff are going to try and override each other, or in other cases as soon as someone wants to revert back ie: when you catch other people doing it have them go to talk page. Thanks. --Raidarr (talk) 23:51, January 30, 2024 (UTC)
- But how can you make a draft for an RfC? I know there's no official way of making an actual RfC yet, but I don't know how to make a "draft" version yet. Another thing: I've been meaming to create a blog about issues that I feel should be addressed on this wiki that I hope will be able to change the rules a bit, but I've been a little distracted by other things outside of this wiki for a few months, so I can write this blog as soon as possible if you want me to. - You can make a draft in your sandbox space and I can make any adjustments needed from there in structure + leave early feedback. As for a blog about issues you're welcome to write it, no urgency but it would be appreciated to have something to work with. --Raidarr (talk) 00:54, January 31, 2024 (UTC)
