According to the rules, if a user wants to import pages from other wikis here, I should ask the admins just to be sure. I've got a large about of pages I'd like to transfer, but I'm not going to do it unless I know I'm not breaking one of the rules. Most of them are going to be movie related. 1) From which wikis you exported these pages? Because if it's outside of games, movies, shows and literature (including fanfics) is forbidden (with the exception of YouTube due to it having web series).

2) If the size is more than 23MB, split it because the import request doesn't work with dumps larger than 23MB

I think I found a way to recapture my progress for the pages I did. (Thank god for backups) The only problem is, I can't do much with the Wi-Fi I'm on for UMass Lowell, so I can't promise I'll be a very prominent user.

Alright, update: I've been examining some of the pages, but for some reason, one of the Teen Titans Go pages appears to be null, and you can't edit or make changes to the page. Would you like to take a look?

Just some advice

So... hi. I'm finally going to start contributing to this wiki. However, I have some criticism towards some things on this wiki. Note that these are not demands, just suggestions. Here are my criticisms:

1. Personally, I do not like this "one wiki" idea. I'd much prefer the original multiple wiki system, given that this one is kind of messy. If not that, I at least would like you to make them into two wikis: One for good media and one for bad media.
2. The main page history is not here. If you do have access to it, I would appreciate if you add it somewhere. If you follow my idea of going back to the multiple wiki system, then give the main pages their original main page history. If you choose the "one for good and one for bad" system, then give the bad wiki the CGW history, and give the good wiki the AGW history. If you choose to not do anything, at least add the CGW main page history to the main page history of the wiki. If you choose one of the latter two options, the other histories should be archived.
3. There are some wikis that don't have pages on this wiki. For example, where are the Dreadful Literature Wiki pages? I'd appreciate if you revived the content of that wiki too.

Hello, thanks for the criticism, but some of it isn't really possible.

1. The first criticism: You dislike the idea of one wiki. While I generally agree with that, the main reason why we didn't use the original multiple wiki system is because it would (at least currently) clog up the hosting service since it doesn't have a large amount of wikis and Original Authority doesn't accept multiple reception wikis.
2. The second criticism: Since we can't follow the multiple wiki system, it would be pointless importing a main page from one reception wiki. Besides, we're going to create a main page that's going to be similar to Imagination Land Wiki to make it more polished clean.
3. As for the third criticism, we're currently doing that.

You yourself can import these pages:

1. Go to Special:Export on the wikis you want to export the pages from and add the pages you want to export. Make sure each page title is on a new line and the "Include only the current revision, not the full history" box is not checked.
2. Click "Export".
3. On this wiki, go to Special:Import and import the XML files (autoconfirmed users are allowed to import pages on this wiki). It may take a few tries to import all of them, so if you run into a 502 or 503 error, just refresh the page and click "Submit" on the error dialog that pops up.

News: The original Qualitipedia wikis have been deleted

Hello, I have some news. I don't want to say they're good news but I also don't want to say they're bad news, since I'm overall ok. The Original Qualitipedia wikis have been deleted earlier than usual. On Miraheze, wikis usually get deleted after 6 months but it's been 4 months and they've been deleted. • A lot's changed over this past month: including me. On one hand, I'm glad users aren't getting permabanned anymore just for saying curse words (even by accident), and I looked at the filter for myself so I know just what to look out for, and even found a way around it: censoring the words and only using them when necessary. But that doesn't mean I'm 100% on board with it. (Seriously why are g*y and l*esb**n considered inappropriate?) What exactly should you do if you're trying to create a page for a movie or show that just happens to have a bad word in it -- even if it's a good or essential work? Users would have a tough time dealing with said work. Unlike a number of users, I'm not the kind of person looking to start drama or be excessively crude or vuglar just for the heck of it. I, in particular, have tons of ideas for movie pages, and I made sure to put in tons of research for the pages I create. May I just be the first to say: Whoever created some of these pages really needs to go back to grammar school. I came across some of the newer pages, and I'm seeing tons of misspelled words and improper grammar terms. Clearly, most of the users don't bother to proofread their articles. Uploading Wiki Logs/Pages

Hello, CJWorldGame32125, I am happy we have a reboot of best/terrible tv shows and awful/great movies wiki. But I was wondering, how do you upload all the other wikias backlogs to this? I downloaded terrible tv shows and awful movies wikias before they died. Can we do this?

I'm sorry, but it's not possible due to them being extremely large. Plus, a former user on QP criticized the pages for being basically like comments you would find on YouTube than actual critique. I doubt that CJ will unblock Bluba. His behavior has been disruptive to the point of deserving a block, even though he is capable of making constructive contributions. Copy pasting pages are no longer allowed anymore.

Hello guys. I have made a big decision: Copy pasting pages from the original Miraheze Reception Wikis are no longer allowed. This is because people made me realize that bringing pages from the original Qualitipedia would defeat the purpose of rebooting it in the first place. Bringing stuff from a failed idea and bring them back in the reboot completely destroys the purpose of it. So, I decided to forbid them. We will not delete the already copy pasted pages, because that would be wasted work. But, if you want to put a piece of media here, made a page out of it by yourself, not by copy pasting.

I think this is potentially a really good idea — it will have positive impacts both on SEO and authenticity of the wiki, and perhaps, could bring back some of the reputation of Qualitipedia if it doesn't follow suit with the old Qualitipedia Network. I've taken a look at the Google Search rankings for Qualitipedia and it started off strong, but Google has grown wise to the copied content and (although the original QP wikis are no more), has slowly been removing pages with substantially copied content from the index. It seems to have slowed, and the pages that are somewhat authentic (since some pages are not from QP but have content copied from Wikipedia) are still indexed. Hi, Dunkman. The reason for those poorly written pages are because they are incomplete. I wish I can copy and paste things from the old wikia, but I can’t. When there’s a page that is already well-established on previous wikias, it will take me a while to get it to meet the standards. Regarding your issue with more topics on these wikis

I talked with Original Authority a while ago, and they stated that there was no rule explicitly prohibiting this wiki from writing about certain topics. The only rule is that wikis must stay in the category in which they were put when they were created. They stated that this wiki has not yet been given the right to write about books, and that other topics such as books will need to be requested, and if this wiki's staff want to add other topics, they need to file a Phorge ticket. My basic point is this: I feel that this wiki should allow as many topics as possible, as if this wiki is going to allow pages about Qualitipedia topics, why shouldn't it allow pages about other topics? If you do not want to do this that is fine, but I would recommend it, especially considering that it will be easier than having to create a bunch of wikis that end up deleted and forgotten about. That's not how it works. A positive reception does not imply that the quality of this movie was good and that the people in the higher percentage are 100% right. Otherwise, why is it called "Why It Rocks"? Same with a negative reception and "Why It Sucks". If you don't want people to think that this actually talks about the enjoyability of a work and why X can be enjoyable or not, then make it clear. Do not frame it as "Why It Rocks/Sucks" or call it "[Good/Bad] [Media] Wiki". Do not describe the pointers as "X does/is X" as if it were objectively true, even if it misinterprets or spreads false information about the movies.

Unlike videos, where there is no going back, that you can only render once after scripting, recording and editing, that you cannot retroactively change what you initially said, articles and pages can be revised and rewritten at any time you want. Review videos will age.

For this reason, it's time for old things to die. No, scratch that, that time has started a long time ago. I shouldn't have to waste time creating new wikis for this intended purpose from scratch and build to the top myself. I refuse to wait so I can get what I want. I refuse to be patient. Instead, I have intended to change these wikis to discuss the actual contents of the media itself and whether or not they can have a good or negative impact on others. I have always intended this to be a definitive reviewing wiki/site where people can, at any time they want, collaboratively edit and provide reasons as to why this could positively or negatively affect the viewer's emotions. I know that people have different tastes or interpretations and that art is therefore subjective, but we can still list reasons as to why X could positively/negatively affect the viewer's emotions.

Schaffrillas' brother Patrick and friend Chris died. From time to time, I have laughed uncontrollably to things like them of all people and Schaff getting into... a car wreck, as well as thinking of the idea of a "Schaffrillas car crash" and other things, and I kept trying to stop myself from laughing because I knew it was wrong and that Chris and Patrick are watching me from the afterlife. I have confessed to it on /r/Schaffrillas, and people hated me for it. Not an admin in here, but I'm gonna be honest (and a little blunt here). I think he's probably not responding to you either because he's busy somewhere else or in the worst case, probably because he's starting to get annoyed at you for constantly demanding for adminship; and for spamming multiple topics of the same thing. Based on my observations, @ChessGuy66:, if I were you, I would advice you to stop spamming topic pages on CJ's talk page asking for them. I'm certain that you wouldn't like it if the admins had to warn or even block you for that.

I would also like to add that receiving adminship isn't the same as getting them like free candy. Nor is doing the job as easy as it sounds. Not only are you required to make a decent amount of contributions (according to what CJ and Robin told you before), but you also have to follow what the other users have advised you to do: improve on your grammar and your overall competence. In addition, by earning them, you also have to commit to them by ensuring that you are responsible enough to keep the wiki moderated and to improve on the overall experience of this community. Finally, you only earn the rights to become an admin once the consensus of this wiki says that you are trusted enough on this role. And not because you proclaim (or in this case, you think) that you're ready.

Unfortunately, due to the things I mentioned above, I could see why the current administration team can't give you the rights to the role straight away. So I'd advice that for the sake of this community, you continue demonstrating your contributions with good faith and be patient. About the rules

As a new admin, i have planned some minor changes of rules that i am sure most users would agree on:

1: Swearing: Now, now, now i am not applying that swearing will actually be allowed, but i do think it shall be less limited. Words like: Shitty, Ass, Asshole, Bitch and Shit should be allowed but other more explicit words like: Fuck, Dick, Anal and Penis will still not be allowed (Unless if it's a quote said by someone like John Mcclaen's famous "Yippe-Kia-Yay Motherfucker" or Richard Marcinko's: "Suck my Balls' my hairy fuckin big balls rub em around your fucking mouth" you name it.

2: Copy-pasted Pages: I am not supporting copy pasting from older wiki's but some of it should be allowed, but only and i mean ONLY if it's done before March 16, 2023 or if the said copy-pasted page is somewhat more different and more polished or if it's on sandbox so there you can have enough time to change it to something better and make it more polished. This wiki needs more reworked pages from old ones.

I actually don't like so much pages get imported because:

1. it's quite lazy.
2. this did not suppose to be a reboot wiki?
3. rework pages can focus on a major quantity of detail than old ones.

Deleting My Bluey Page

I still don’t understand why you deleted my Bluey page, I did make changes to it. Heck, this is not the first page I copied and pasted from the dead Wikia and revised. 1. Go to a user's contributions page (Special:Contributions/[username]) and there should be a "block" button within the user toolbar; it should also appear next to their contributions link in any edits they make.
2. Special:Import. Even if you weren't an admin, you could still do this as you're autoconfirmed.
3. You can't. Only bureaucrats can shut the wiki down as only they have access to ManageWiki.

Some recommendations

1. I'd advise you talk to Original Authority about allowing more topics on this wiki, since as I've said before, they're not actually necessarily opposed to it.
2. I'd advise you, at the very least, divide this wiki into two wikis: one for bad media and one for good media. I doubt that two wikis instead of one will be a big problem.
3. I'd recommend you start importing some more pages as well as restoring pages in other namespaces, such as blogs, as I still think they have historical importance.
4. Regarding historical importance, I'd recommend you import the history of the CGW main page into the current main page, as I feel like this wiki should be treated like a successor to Crappy Games Wiki. In my view, when wikis merge, one is not abolished, but instead expanded on. I'd also recommend you archive histories of other main pages for historical importance. As for how you format the page title, it would be like this: New Qualitipedia Wiki:Awesome Games Wiki archived main page

3. The Wayback Machine exists for this purpose; if blogs are enabled on this wiki in the future, it should focus on new blogs, with users being allowed to recreate old blogs if they want to.
4. New Qualitipedia is not just a successor to Crappy Games Wiki; it's the successor to the entire Qualitipedia network. Wikis being "expanded" upon when they merge with other wikis only holds if the two wikis focus on the same subject; since New Qualitipedia focuses on several subjects, this analogy doesn't work, and thus it doesn't make sense to merge the old CGW's main page history with the page history of the current main page.

1. New Qualitipedia is not meant to be a combination of every reception wiki, just the former Qualitipedia wikis. Although CJ can request more subjects, he doesn't want to.

In the case of Terrible TV Shows Wiki merging with Horrible TV Show Episodes Wiki, the two wikis focused on closely-related subjects; thus, it made sense to consider Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki a rebrand, not a new wiki. The Qualitipedia wikis were broadly related; similar in scope/style, but different in subject. It doesn't make sense to consider New Qualitipedia a successor to a small fraction of the QP network.

Archiving the main pages of the old wikis is a novel idea but difficult to do given that the old wikis are long deleted; the only way I see to do this is to download the QP dumps, import them into a self-hosted MediaWiki instance, and export the main pages from there. Also, a lot of people visiting this wiki will know that New Qualitipedia is a successor to the Qualitipedia network (even the name "New Qualitipedia" suggests that); for those who don't know, a notice that many of the pages here are imported should be enough, but it's not necessary right now since there haven't been any examples of users questioning that (page histories are somewhat obscure anyway).

1. It should be simple; export the pages from each wiki and import them here, since autoconfirmed users still have the ability to import pages.
2. I agree with the lack of need to expand the neutral wiki's scopes only for the fact that they're unnecessary given that New Qualitipedia is one combined wiki.
3. I'm not saying that old blogs should be archived; users should be allowed to recreate old blogs on this wiki and treat them as if they were new, updating them, interacting with them, etc., not treat them as old books that shouldn't be touched. I'd also prefer keeping the history if possible, but it'd take lots of effort to retain that history given that the old wikis are long deleted; most people will take the easier option and copypaste the blogs in their final state to a new blog.
4. The merging of wikis is a lot more complicated than "If A and B merge into C, then C is a successor to A because A came first!" If A focused on, say, the community-facing end of a video game (levels, items, enemies, etc.) and B was the technical counterpart (mods, glitches, bugs, etc.), then saying that C is a successor to A is not entirely true; in this case, C is also a successor to B, thus making it a successor to both wikis. The same principle applies with New Qualitipedia; its scope is a combination of the scopes of all of the Qualitipedia wikis, making it a successor to all of them, not just one. Only in very limited circumstances can one wiki be considered a successor to only one; for example, A is a wiki focusing on a TV series, while B is a smaller wiki focusing on the same TV series with significantly different content set up by a user who left after a disagreement with wiki A's staff. If A and B merge to form C, it can be argued that C is a successor to A since it's much larger; a much more reasonable argument, however, is that C and A are one and the same, and that merging A and B results in just A. This mostly holds up; the only counterexample I can think of is if B has significantly higher-quality content than A and A's administration decides to replace a lot of their articles with ones from B, in which case it can be argued that merging A and B produces C, not A.

1. The Qualitipedia dumps are not relevant to this point specifically; in this context, I'm talking about the dumps of each mainstream media wiki that wasn't part of QP.

I have to agree here, i can say the same about F.E.A.R. 2 and No One Lives Forever 2, they are higly acclaimed on metacritic but in reality, they are disappointing sequels, and i dont need reviews i just played those games, even Jarek said that F.E.A.R. 2 is the weakest entry in the series, the third game despite still being nowhere near as good as the first game atleast fixed all of the previous games flaws. Reskins of reskins do exist: FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K, and other sports games do this (with the exception of WWE 2K), and I checked the difference between NBA 2K23 and 2K24's gameplay, and it's pretty much the same. Well, from what I can imply from this situation, if he's ignoring your messages, it seems that CJ clearly isn't interested in taking your suggestions, nor doesn't like what you're giving to him. Several months have passed so you should have known by now what his answer would be. While I understand where you're going from, bear in mind that this is still CJ's wiki and not yours. And it is up to him to decide whether or not he'll make the changes you suggested for this wiki. The reason he didn't want to import pages on this wiki anymore is because according to him, he wants the reboot to fix all the pages by remaking them from the ground up. Restoring old history would mean that people looking up at the old revisions would show how messy a lot of the articles in the original wikis are. Remember,you're just a regular user here, so that means that you shouldn't be telling CJ (or any other admin running the site) what to do and what not to do. If they don't like what you're suggesting, then so be it. Just don't contribute here and find some other places that satisfy your needs better instead of stressing yourself from not getting the features you want nor having multiple users ignore you. Haven't you learned from your past mistakes, especially what other users from Miraheze told you? If you're only here just to spam the same topics and complain about the same things, such as how you don't like how the admins are running their wiki, then you're just basically annoying and disrupting them. That is why not a lot of people want to talk to you or pay attention to what you bring up. And if I were you, I'd suggest that you just drop this conversation entirely. I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, but this is getting out of hand and I had no choice but to intervene. Based on your contributions here, all that you've been doing on this wiki this entire time was suggest features that not many users like, and hardly do you do anything to at least make the wiki better yourself. A new wiki

So um, i am asking about, how to create a separate wiki, i am asking because i am planning to create two different wiki's TTG episodes and The Simpsons episodes, usually long running shows in general, i got this idea inspired by the SML Videos wiki, and i am planning to create wikis about episodes of long running shows good or bad so this wiki wont be clogged up with it, like the older wiki's were, i am also asking how do i delete an user, since my original username is Robin, but i forgot the password. Some stuff that needs fixed

1): Whenever adding lots of images to to tabber the infobox gets screwed up, and it's a problem when it's a long-running show that has gone downhill such as: Family Guy, The Loud House and The Simpsons or a game that has received multiple expansions and remasters such as: Duke Nukem 3D. 2) When Adding three exclamation signs the infobox gets screwed up, this is a problem for Aaaaaah!!! Real Monsters. 3) The deletion log is broken, i once tried to add a reason why the avgn wiki page should be deleted as there is already one on good youtubers wiki but it won't show.

For pages that are shows with like 3 seasons, then you can add the images. If the show has more than 10 seasons, don't add them, leave them with the image of the first season. 2) Idk how to fix that. 3) Don't delete the page, since it was imported first. I mentioned in the rules that pages copy pasted before March 16th, 2023 are allowed to stay, otherwise I would destroy everybody's time. The main reason why I forbid copy pasting pages is because this is a REBOOT, not a continuation. Because you're copy pasting it poorly, from visual edit probably. Plus, you shouldn't copy paste pages. I told you it's against the rules. Question: About the page for 13 Reasons Why

I noticed that the page for the said show/article had its good/redeeming qualities removed from the page (up until this point) because of what it did, and I've seen comments about its redeeming qualities being removed, (one of the them I saw said that it has a genuine fanbase and some good qualities about the show) do you honestly think that having its good/redeeming qualities removed from its article is unnecessary because its not bad enough to be restricted from having positive pointers/redeeming qualities removed from the page? Rule 14 should disappear from the wiki

On this wiki, it is strictly forbidden to copy pages from the old wiki, even if you created the page yourself, and while there were a lot of biased pages, there were also a lot of good ones that almost everyone would agree with, and if you are the author of the page, you should have permission to move it especially since only you edited it.
